Review: Freedom and Comfort at a low price! - I use these with my Spectra pump and they’ve been a total game changer. I felt like I was in pumping jail with my traditional cups and I was ready to give up on my Spectra even though it's a fantastic pump. I went out on a limb and bought these collection cups after seeing similar ones on tiktok, but i didn't think they should be 60$ ?? so i found these! They’re easy to use, comfortable, and give me the same output as the traditional Spectra collection cups. I love that they allow for a mostly hands-free pumping experience as long as you wear a snug-fitting bra to keep them seated firmly against your breasts, you’re good to go. Assembly might look a little overwhelming at first, but it’s actually pretty simple once you do it once or twice. There are only four parts (including the duckbill and membrane), which is no more than a standard pump setup. Attaching the cups to the pump is easy and can be done either before or after the cups are in place. Cleaning is also straightforward, nothing more labor intensive than the traditional flange setup. The cups come with their own tubing, which is a nice inclusion, but I found the provided tubing to be poor quality... it’s flimsy and easily gets crushed if you lean against it, which can cut off suction. I ended up using the tubing from my traditional collection cups instead and it works perfectly. The set also includes a Y-connector and an extension piece, though I don’t use either. I just stick to the two individual tubes directly connected to my Spectra, same as I do with my standard setup. One of my favorite features is the silicone flange that sits against your breast. It’s super soft and comfortable, and I actually find that the cups create a gentle vibrating sensation during pumping, which really helps trigger my letdown. They’re also compatible with flange inserts as long as the funnel part of the insert is wide enough where it sits against the breast. The ones designed for mobile pumps with a smaller outer area won’t work well here. Another big plus: the capacity. These cups hold up to 240 mL (about 8 oz), which I personally never fill, but if you’re an oversupplier, this might be a huge benefit. It gives peace of mind knowing you’re not going to overflow mid-session. Pouring the milk out can be a little awkward at first, but I’ve never had any issues. After pouring, there’s very little left behind in the cup itself, but some milk does tend to collect in the seam where the silicone meets the plastic. It’s a very small amount, barely anything, and more of a hygiene note than a functional issue. I don’t wash my pump parts between sessions, I just store them in the fridge, so it’s something I keep in mind. That said, I’ve never had any issues with leakage, which is a huge win. All in all, these are a fantastic alternative to traditional collection cups. Comfortable (i can use even when my nipples are sore), easy to clean and assemble, and just as effective... with the added bonus of more freedom and less bulk. Highly recommend!
Review: Must have for the pumping girlies!! - After reading the mixed review on these I’m glad I went with my gut and bought them. We’ll start with pros: I’m a busty girl, probably a size 42DD and I absolutely LOVE these cups compared to using my spectra bottles. They’re very comfortable, they don’t pinch or leak when I take them off and I don’t worry about bumping them or losing suction because of the weight from my milk filling up the containers or while holding my baby and pumping. I personally like being able to look down and watch my milk come out of the duckbill valves so I know when I’m empty compared to having to bend to see the duckbills in my spectra bottles. I love that I can disconnect the tubing from the top if I have to suddenly stop pumping to tend to my baby. I also don’t have to worry about my baby kicking my pumps off while holding her and pumping. My most favorite thing about these cups is not only the comfy part but their 8oz capacity. I usually only use these cups for my night pumps because my volume is so high so not having to empty them more than once and being done is great. The suction/output I get with these is better in my opinion than the bottles and my letdown happens a lot faster as well. Cleaning is fairly easy along with assembly and disassembly. I do not have any issues with leaking or loss of suction at all as long as I’m putting the pumps back together correctly. Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to assembly and pouring. It took me a couple of trial and errors to figure out EXACTLY how to get the diaphragms to stay sealed while in use so I don’t have “sounds” and a weak suction and how to pour without spilling milk everywhere. You have to pay really close attention when reassembling when it comes to making sure the seal is correct around the cup esp at the spout or else milk will not only come out of the spout but will come out in areas beside the spout. The only other con that I have is that the measuring lines should be on both sides of the cups not just one side. Overall I highly recommend these cups. I had been constantly getting ads for the legendairy silicone collection cups but wasn’t wanting to pay the $70 price tag that came with them. So anyone who’s looking for a more affordable alternative, this is your sign. I am 5 months PP and I wish I would’ve known about these in the beginning instead of using my spectra bottles.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable and conscientious after a modification

Nice alternative to the traditional spectra cups that hang out and down your bra. I got sick of having to put a pumping bra on every time so thought I’d try these. Is an upgrade but a couple things to be aware of- 1. I found the connection point between the silicone piece that your breast sits in and the backside that attaches to the duck bill has a bit of a hard plastic edge exposed to your nipple. The silicone is soft and feels great- getter than the hard plastic Spectra flange, however it slips around a hard plastic tunnel connection point which means as your nipple is brought in by suction it rubs against this hard plastic edge. I found that to really be painful. I added a nipple size insert to cover that plastic piece and that took care of it. So be aware of that and maybe plan to have and use a size insert for comfort. 2. If you have a dog these silicone shields will be covered in dog hair. It attracts hair and dog fur like no other. Trying to keep the hair off them and clean is a losing battle. It all comes clean when washing but then has I assemble or touch them the hair appears. Not a huge deal but definitely annoying as you try to be so sanitary and clean when pumping. Overall happy and I find myself being more consistent with pumping because it’s a little more comfortable and easy now. But does have a couple draw backs that had to be addressed. Only used these for a few days so will update if other things pop up
