After reading the reviews I was convinced this could be a decent tea and the fact that Oprah has it, well how could I not try it! I will be honest I didn't hold a lot of high hopes for IT, as at the end of the day it's dried down ginger and dried tumeric. But it has pleasantly surprised me, to the point that I will not be returning to twinnings and their fancy cheap offers at the supermarket. The ginger has a nice kick and the tumeric comes out. I'm pretty sure there will be no hope left for my teeth to ever be white, as I'll be drinking this regularly along side my morning black coffee! The packaging made it decadent and knowing that it was harvested in November this year made me know for sure how fresh it was. I don't give reviews as a regular thing but I honestly felt like this deserved it! I did add a tsp of buckwheat honey into mine but I regretted it straight after as it took away the taste of the ginger. And it's got a natural sweetness already. This will become a regular tea for me, I will now have to arrange my finances to suit my new fancy tea lifestyle. But joking aside it is something that's worth it. And I really want to try the rose black tea blend one but I'm going to hold myself back and finish at least a box in my tea cupboard before I go crazy shopping.
