Do not use if you are sensitive to preservatives - This worked like magic and brought relief from the severe dry eye following surgery. It was difficult to dispense a single drop but it was cooling and soothing. I was waking up with clear and painless eyes. By the time I got near the end of the tube my morning symptoms returned with a vengeance. Upon reading the ingredients I realised that the product was not preservative free. I have had to discontinue use and find a preservative free alternative. If you can tolerate preservatives it is about the best thing you can use! Review: Great for dry eyes - I have suffered with dry eyes since getting laser eye surgery, and also have a health condition which makes me eyes dry. These gel drops are great, they feel like they do more than liquid drops and I prefer the tube to a tiny bottle that is easily lost. The batch i received seems to have been manufactured in June 2018 and has a shelf life until May 2021 so unopened 3 years. Once opened, discard any unused product after 28 days ( it says so on the pack) **Q: Anyone knows the dexpanthenol content of these please?** A: There is no mention of it under ‘composition’. **Q: Does this help with watery eyes? My eyes are always streaming even if there’s a slight breeze.** A: Have you had your eyes checked? My Optometrist referred me to a consultant. I was diagnosed with DRY eyes. I know it sounds ridiculous but that is a fact. My optometrist also prescribed Clinitas Hydrate for use before going to bed and Visualise during the day. He also prescribed the use of an MGD eye pad for 10 minutes use each day. Actually I still have the symptoms you describe which, I am told, are symptoms of Dry Eye. I understand there is a surgical procedure for opening up the drain ducts but I have not explored that further. Good luck. **Q: can this be used with contact lenses?** A: I do not wear contact lenses but according to the enclosed instruction leaflet it indicates that contact lens users can use it with the proviso that lenses should be removed before application of the gel and not replaced for a period of 30 minutes after application.
