I found this applicator most useful when used to instead of the pinch move detailed just pressing it straight down on target for the full 40 seconds. It can leave a black patch about 1/4 an inch in diameter, and then appear not to work because the tag is still there. DO NOT RE-APPLY, give it time. The instructions say 4 weeks, I found it takes about 2 weeks for all the effected area to fall off and be replaced. Point is it probably will appear not to have worked, just give it some time especially in an area like an eye lid.

**Q: Can this be used on the upper eye lid?**
A: The Dr. Scholl's Skin Tag Remover should not be used above the neck and especially near the eyes.  The skin on the eyelids is very thin and needs to be treated with the care only a medical professional can provide.  Please see your physician to have any work near your eyes done.

**Q: Do we cover the skin tag after treatment?**
A: It's not required to cover the skin tag following treatment.  However, if it is in an area where it might be pulled on before it is ready to come off, you can cover it with a bandage while you wait for the skin tag to fall off.

**Q: Can you use your own tweezers with this? the plastic ones that come with are impossible.**
A: Sorry to hear you are not able to successfully use the tweezers from our Dr. Scholl's Skin Tag Remover.   The tweezers help ensure that the tag is extended enough to allow you to apply the freeze to the stalk of the tag.  Please do not use metal tweezers as they will conduct cool away from the tag and to your fingers or may cause the tweezers to stick to the tag.  If possible, we would recommend having someone else tweeze the tag to make it easier for you.

**Q: Does the tag fall off immediately?**
A: No, the skin tag will not fall off immediately.  The freezing action will stop circulation to the tissue causing the tag to die off.  Eventually, within two weeks usually, it will fall off with little sign of where the skin tag was.  Please be certain to read the instructions for use and to avoid trying to pull the skin tag off after treatment.  Let it come off naturally.

This product did remove my skin tag; however, it was also an extremely painful experience that I have no interest in repeating. I got the product in the mail- delivered on time. I read the instruction manual and also scanned the QR code on the box to watch an instructional video. If you do these two things you’ll know how it works and what to do, however a second person to help you time the freezing process does make it all a whole lot easier. I froze my skin tag on my inner thigh, it stung immediately (to be expected), but then it continued to sting all day every day for 12 days. Bandaids didn’t help, bandages didn’t help, there was no relief. It was a constant feeling of sharp pain, like my skin was ripping open. It blistered (which is expected), but the skin tag didn’t turn black until Day 10, and then it didn’t fall off until day 12 (with help). 3 stars. Because it worked, but it sucked.
