They slip on quite well but you still need hand assistance, but I work in a store that gets a lot of dust and our floors are tile so they are very slick. But for the wet floors I haven't fell so that's a plus. Where the bottom of the shoe comes up where your arch is it seems to hit that part of my foot and it does cause it to be quite sore. As for water resistant I've gotten water on my shoes and my toes still get wet but I'm assuming that's because of the mesh. They do gather dust quite well but slap them together and they dust off quite nicely. Because they're slip-ons and they have laces there's no place to tuck said laces so you have gigantic bunny ears, so I kind of try to tuck them amongst themselves. They were quite comfortable the first couple of weeks but now my feet are starting to get sore.
