I preferred gray laces to match with most of the rest of the sneaker. I bought different laces from different online lace companies but the laces were either too thin, or not rugged enough or were about two shades too light or for some other reason did not seem to be the best possible match for the sneaker.I took a chance on ordering these laces from Amazon. They seemed to be the best shade. When they arrived I was a bit skeptical but then I put them on the sneakers and they seem to be the best possible choice. They had a good feel to them. Not flimsy. They were just a tad too wide but it was not a problem getting them through the eyelets. Some people might consider the width to be improper for the style of sneaker but I think it looks just about right ( though not perfect)..
