In terms of sleeping with them in every night on a permanent basis, I'd say no though. These earplugs create a build up of wax inside the ear after some time using them - presumably because they don't let your natural earwax out during sleep as it would normally slowly work its way out. Both my dad and I have had issues with wax build up after prolonged use, and this has in the past led to ear infections, and the feeling of slightly blocked up hearing. I try and alternate use between foam and these if I can to limit this happening. **Q: are these vegan? what wax is used?** A: I've looked on the enclosed leaflet within the box and it just states, pure wax. I suggest you contact Quies and ask them for more info, quies.com They are manufactured in France. **Q: Is it hard to remove them from your ear once it's moulded to the shape?** A: No. You just pinch the bit of wax pertruding from your ear and wiggle the whole plug out.
