We have not evaluated them for use in water shoes, so we're not sure how well they might perform. On the other hand our Massaging Gel Energizing Comfort insoles absolutely do not absorb water based upon their gel structure and might be a better choice to offer the comfort and protection you seek in your water shoes. **Q: Do they make squicky sounds when you walk? How are they for size 8 sneakers?** A: I use them in a size 9 and haven't noticed any squicky sounds. **Q: Will these work with mens 7.5 shoes?** A: A 7.5 Men's shoe size is smaller than our trim guides and the construction of our product for trimming.
