For context I have really long hair that hasn't been cut for over 12 months. Previously, I was struggling with tangles and finding it hard to keep looking nice. I have now started using tressemme shampoo and conditioner rather than whatever was on offer in the supermarket and have coupled that with this lovely detangler. And it's been a lot easier. I have also tried keeping my hair in a plait to help. I can apply this regularly throughout even when my hair is dry. I just spray some on the palm of my hand and run it down the shaft of the plait.
