But since then I haven't done much, apart from an electronics course I had to take in college.I recently decided to get a bit more into this sort of stuff and thought one of this kits would be a good starting point to refresh my memory in the soldering techniques and all that.It probably took me 2 or 3 hours to build this, so not too long, it's easy enough and the instructions are quite good actually. And the most important thing, it worked! Β I used to do some extremely simple soldering projects as a kid and now wanted to start over in electronics so ordered this alongside the tools to test those out. It's really great, was easy to put together and it works, tried it against a synthesizer and all the flickering is quite spectacular. The only downside that it was probably a bit too easy to assemble, so even if you're a complete beginner I'd recommend considering slightly more advanced kits.
