I did eventually get the polish off, but it wasn't a quick job & I feel as though I have had to scrub at the surface of my nails more than I would like, leaving them a little rough.You have to start by roughing up the surface of the gel polish & this, I found, is harder than you might think. The remover has to be left on for several seconds & I would say it needs longer than they say on the packaging - although even the manufacturers can't really decide. They say 45 seconds in one place & 1 minute elsewhere in the instructions! I didn't feel as though the remover gel did more than soften the polish slightly, enabling me to use the tool provided to basically scratch & scrape the polish off. There are tiny spots still on several nails where I just couldn't shift the last traces even after repeating the process several times. I recommend (as do the makers) only doing one or two nails at a time. I spent roughly an hour overall getting my nails to a point where I was OK to call it done, despite the tiny stubborn bits.Yes, I got the polish off, but I wouldn't want to use this all the time. I have watched YouTube videos which seemed to show a much better result, with the remover gel turning the polish itself to something gel-like which can then be easily pushed off the nail, but this didn't happen for me. Maybe I was doing something incorrectly, but I'm not sure what. I would probably give it another go and I am certainly glad it exists, but if you have the time to go to a nail bar - particularly if you want fresh polish in the immediate future; I didn't - then I don't think it's worth faffing about with this.Bit of a back-up for emergencies rather than an immediate go-to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not any better than acetone *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 January 2020* I know this is meant to be better for your nails but from my experience it didn't work any better than the standard way to remove gel nails. The product if anything caused me to scrape at my nails more. However, it does cut down on waste when removing your nails as you don't need cotton pads and foil, limits acetone usage and it does work! I think I need more practice. ### ⭐⭐ Not as good as advertised *by S***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 July 2018* Didn't work very well. I liked the idea but I am currently sat here with foils as it didn't work that well - you have to use the tool to really scrape the gel off which worried me.
