A: Hi,Yes it floats. Its quite hard to get it to stay on your hook so you do tend to see it float away! hope this helps

**Q: How do you use it?**
A: I roll it up in a ball and then put it on the hook and smash it with my finger so it’s a little smaller than a dime.  Then it spins in the water.
