Die Verbindung vom Macbook zum Fernseher funktioniert, wenn man ein paar Dinge beachtet.Da der Adapter wie eine Soundkarte funktioniert, muss dieser entsprechend bei den Systemeinstellungen 'Ton' umgestellt werden. Die grafische Ausgabe funktioniert ohne Probleme.Leider aktiviert sich die Soundkarte und damit auch die grafische Verbindung zum Fernseher nicht verlässlich. Es scheint beim Anschluss ein Wackelkontakt zu sein, oder aber die zeitliche Abfolge beim Anschliessen des Gerätes an den Macbook Pro und danach die Verbindung zum Fernseher. Bis zu 10 Versuche sind nichts aussergewöhnliches.Das Produktprinzip den Ton via Soundkarte in das HDMI Signal zu koppeln ist sehr gut, die Verlässlichkeit des Gerätes leider noch nicht.

Ich bin an meinem Mac Mini 3,1 als Media Center mit dem Teil sehr zufrieden. Macht das was es soll und ganz ohne Probleme. Ich würde das Gerät wieder kaufen.

Der Adpater hat am Anfang noch getan was er sollte. Und das hat auch sehr gut funktioniert. Der Fernseher (Samsung) wurde schnell vom Laptop (MacBook late 2008) erkannt und die integrierte Soundkarte konnte auch ohne Probleme angespielt werden. Nach zwei Wochen passierte jedoch gar nichts mehr....daher nur 2 Sterne.
