**Q: Is it safe to sterilise it in steriliser?**
A: Please do not sterilise the original Sophie la girafe, just wipe clean with a damp cloth (you can use sterilising fluid on the cloth if you wish).

The reason is Sophie is made from natural rubber, which is an all natural and biodegradable substance (the sap from a tree) and does not like very high heat. In addition you may get some water inside the squeaker which would affect the sound of the squeak.
