**Q: Is this the same or similar to the black cocoa powder used in Oreos?**
A: Hi. This is in fact, alkalised (dutched) cocoa powder with a fat (cocoa butter) content of 22-24%. This is generally the industry 'standard' balance for cocoa powder.  Irca's cocoa powder is a dark brown/amber in colour and can be used in a wide range of dessert/pastry applications. The description is accurate. I am not sure what exact ingredients are used for Oreo cookies. However, if I may make a suggestion, we currently stock a black cocoa powder that would be ideal for such a thing: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B079ZL6449  .
