When they arrived, they looked a bit dirty and the three wires that are twirled together had all unraveled. I made the mistake of not plugging in before hanging them up, and later realized that only about half the lights worked. Because of the presentation of the wires, I was afraid there was internal damage so I exchanged for a new set. This was extremely easy to do and the new set arrived very quickly.
