In my case, there was some loss of dye, so I guess it would depend on the type of material that you are proposing to attack. Maybe a supplier of MEK could provide advice before you spend money buying a product that you might rarely need to use? **Q: Is this stronger then acetone for removing inks? Normal acetone for nail varnish remover failed to remove the ink I need to remove.** A: This is above my pay grade, CS. I was told to get it by the people who supplied me with the stuff I used to repair rotten timber. It worked for me in a way that my wife's nail varnish remover wouldn't. Frankly, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Just use it sparingly to start with. Frankly, a jam jar of water and a couple of rubber bands to suspend the bristles below the surface should enable you to continue painting after 2 to 3 days. **Q: It can be used to glue PVC or acrylic without leave marks or resíduos** A: it can be used to glue lego together but not all plastics or flexible lego which is different composition. Excellent for normal lego/duplo to stick some bits together into bigger blocks for young children .
