Review: Good Stuff! - Given the high cost of this tape I was sceptical, but as I had a very large tear in my otherwise pristine Gore-Tex PacLite jacket I took a punt on it. Took a while to arrive (although within the indicated time to be fair and it was posted direct from the U.S), and there was only just enough provided to do my repair (it was a *very* large tear). I followed the instructions to the letter, prepping the surface with Isopropyl alcohol and trimming the corners to a curve. I applied the tape to the inside of the jacket, having first used clear Scotch tape on the outside to hold the material together as best I could. I had to use two pieces of Tenacious tape due to the nature of my tear. It has done a really nice job and you have to look quite closely at the outside of the garment to even spot the repair, it's extended the life of an otherwise still decent jacket. It's been about a month now since I did the repair and all is well with no sign of peeling so I'm hopeful about the longevity of the fix. I did spend quite a lot of time on the prep however and I suspect that (like painting) the end results are dependent on the quality of the preparation. It also probably helped that the Gore-Tex Pac-Lite inner was well suited to the tape adhesive. All in all, very satisfied and would buy again, especially as the supplier included a 10% off voucher for an additional purchase.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How durable is this? I have a tailgating canopy that has a hole in it. We use it about 10 times a year. Will this solution be reasonably permanent?**
A: Yep! Very, very durable. The black fabric tenacious tape might be the best option because it will bend & fold with the canopy fabric better than the clear.

**Q: is this water repellant?**
A: I have had no trouble with water incursion on my coats.

**Q: Can i wash my down jacket in a machine after using this tape?  how about a dryer on low?**
A: Yes to the dryer too...although I usually just tumble dry it (no heat) more for the sake of the jacket than the repair tape.

**Q: Would this work on a garden hose?**
A: Yes, this will work great. I would recommend cleaning the area very well before applying the tape.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive but performance is ace

Works a treat. My tent is 7 years old and has taken a battering with the weather in that time, and as a result has a few small holes and a tear to it. This tape is fabulous. It's easy to cut and apply to the holes and tears on the outer tent (I applied the tape to the inside of the outer tent so it's discreet). It seems to stick very well, and time will tell if it can stand up to the challenging weather I'll be taking my tent in. Only downside is that it is very expensive for the small amount you get, so I've knocked a star off my review for that. However, if it keeps up to it's claims that it's virtually indestructible, then I will deem it a worthy investment and a success :-) I now keep the rest in my tent repair kit pouch and hopefully I will never need to use it again.
