I have two very curly-coated pups (a cavapoochon & a cavachon) who I groom myself. The Cavachon will happily sit and be clippered, however our cavapoochon has a much tighter coat so clippers pull through his curls. These scissors are a godsend! They are so sharp (but the rounded tips are so important!) and will go through his really thick fur with ease. Really good set especially for how much you pay!
