Instead, she sent me an email demanding proof of purchase and pictures of the problem. In this day and age, why not upload a video of a technician assembling the bike either to the company's website or youtube. To Summarise: I like the bike and, as long as you are not too hung up about having a working brake system, it is worth considering.
