I'm not a full on stomach sleeper but I'm not a complete side sleeper either. I'm a bit of both in one position. Regular side sleeper pillows would be great if I didn't have to have my arm under my head under my pillow. However I do, which makes side sleeper pillows way too fluffy. I can't have too flat of a pillow either though. Gotta be cooling bc I'm a hot sleeper. I've tried so many different pillows and spent so much money on pillows that it's just ridiculous. I've tried so many that don't work for me that everyone else in my house now has 2-4 new pillows instead LolSome pillows felt like I was sleeping on a beach ball. Others like logs. I'd even tried an adjustable shredded foam pillow from another brand in the past but it didn't hold it's shape. It sagged in the middle and I could feel my arm thru it. Then I got a solid memory foam pillow that had too much loft so I spent hours cutting layers off of it to get it lower. Then I came across these pillows!! My life has changed. I have the ability to take as much foam out as I need without losing the support that my head and neck need. The pillows don't sag. They're not lumpy. The foam gently molds to your head and neck without making you hot. It really is cooling! The price is really good for the quality too. I would definitely recommend this pillow. I have several of the coop home goods pillows and have loved them, but after a year they were going flat, and not wanting to fork out another $100 for a pillow I searched and searched and came across this Phantoscope pillow and decided to give it a shot. I got my first one on Dec 7 '22 and after adding in some of the extra stuffing it came with it was PERFECT! Sleeps like a dream and BETTER than my previous pillow that cost twice as much.For the record I am a slightly fluffy mid 40's woman with broad shoulders, slide sleeper and going though menopause, so I tend to sleep HOT. I also have back and neck issues so my pillow being just right is VERY important. I am looking for a pillow with enough support for when I am on my side, and with enough loft that it won't go flat in the middle of the night. I also don't want it to make my head hot. This one doesn't make me hot and it gets cool really easy, so in the middle of the night if I flip it over the other side is nice and COLD!!! it's pretty wonderful.NOW.... when you unpack the pillow your first reaction will be Oh HECK NO.... it's flat and immense disappointment. REALLY, REALLY, REALLY FLAT and you think there is NO way it's going to fluff up enough. I let my 1st one sit out of it's packaging for about 4 hours and it was still flat as a pancake, so I tossed it in the dryer on low for about 45 mins (the packaging said 10 mins, and that wasn't enough, I'm guessing because it had been compressed for so long) but after 45 it was all poofy and MUCH better. I still needed to add some stuffing (about 1/2) of the extra that they sent me for it to be PERFECT.I slept on my new pillow for a week and went ahead and ordered a 2nd so I'd have it when I needed it (because we all know that memory foam goes flat after about a year). Well, my adult daughter came over and was saying that she needed a new pillow and I just had to show her my new favorite and away it went. LOL She loves it as well!! She too had to add some of the extra stuffing, but I was so happy I had something that she needed and that she loves it as much as I do.SO that leaves me here and WHY did I deduct 1 STAR if the pillow is so great??? Well, since I'd given away my spare pillow I obviously needed to replace it (because when I need a new one I need it now and can't wait to find another one) I went ahead and ordered a new one and LO AND BEHOLD, the pack of 2 pillows was on sale, so OBVIOUSLY I'd get 2!!! GREAT DEAL or was it???? My pillows came today and unlike the pillow I'd ordered previously, these did NOT come with extra stuffing at all, nor did they come with the 2 separate pillow covers (one for hot and one for cold), even though they were pictured in the listing. So despite the fact that I have 2 pillows, I really one have one because I will have to take some stuffing from 1 to add to the other to make it lofty enough for my broad shoulders. Leaving the 2nd pillow useless as a pillow and only good for the stuffing. So that's a little disappointing.It's a GREAT pillow though. I've tried what seems like almost all the pillows they offer on Amazon, as well as a few other places (ok probably not quite that many). I've tried the cheap to the ridiculously expensive...and what I've found is that you don't need to spend a lot to get a nice pillow. And you don't necessarily get better quality for more money. I've been most disappointed with the more expensive pillows, most of which didn't come with extra filling, let alone two different pillowcase options. One very popular, more expensive, brand doesn't even provide the same filling when you order a replacement pillow (same pillow different filling). Anyway, I was impressed with this pillow from the moment I opened the box! Then of course once I got it fluffed up and laid on it...heaven! This is the first one I've tried that I needed to add filling for my comfort, rather than remove it. I am primarily a side sleeper, with a small frame. Really nice packaging, love the 2 pillow cover options, and it feels great. I actually like the cooling cover much better than the covers that came on more expensive pillows I've tried. The cotton cover is really nice too. This is a great value and nice quality. I recommend this pillow highly. Finally comfortable! I obviously can't guarantee it will work for the next person, but would definitely encourage you to give it a shot. :)p.s. As others have mentioned, if you want the 2 pillowcases and extra fill, you need to buy the single pillows. The 2 packs do not come with the extras.
