It makes me feel more secure about things.Much more lightweight but much more durable material than say, a freezer bag. Professionally made. The laptop slips in quite nicely, and the zip seals easily. I've had it for about three weeks and it seems to have kept out all moisture and other materials. The only issue is that the outside of the bag can crinkle and gather a bit of dirt (I should probably clean my backpack :), so it doesn't look that 'sexy' until you take your laptop out and hide the bag back in your backpack.
