## Description

A black universal gasket that can be used in many UPVC door and window situations. Sold by the metre (a typical UPVC door will require 6 metres for the door, additional quantities may be required if the frame gasket is also to be changed) but simple to cut and easy to fit. The universal gasket is great for doors where the gasket seal has split or worn and a replacement cannot be found. This gasket fits 95% of UPVC doors and windows and can be used to stop draughts and water ingress. It is also good for interlockers on UPVC French doors. Special features: Durable and UV resistant polyethylene cladding bonded to resilient urethane foam for an outstanding sealing against air and water filtration. Fire rating: Smoke retardant

    Easy to fit replacement seal

Received a quote for replacing the seals on my windows which was more than I wanted to pay, so I thought I'd have a go at doing it myself.It's easy :-) . I obviously can't tell how long this replacement seal will last, but it seems good quality. It's certainly stopped the drafts.

I brought this because the old gasket was letting in too much draught. It is very easy to fit and boy does it make a difference, mine cost around £7 but it has saved my far more than that.

I liked it as it worked fine but because it had been wound into a circle so it could fit into the packaging, it was creased in the areas where it had been pressed.
