A: Hi, it is recommended that a 96mm hole is cut to fit the vent however if a smaller sized hole is preferred then a minimum hole size of 75mm can be cut, hope this helps.

A: No the system would leak! As a roofer you can take my word there are products on the market for mechanical extraction
