Better for keeping in the car as a travel water holder than using on hikes/walks. *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2019* The hole where the water comes out was so small it took forever to full the reservoir with a drinkable amount of water. I know it’s small to prevent random dripping but a tiny pinprick of water was impossible to use. I widened the hole slightly and found a good balance of watertight but allowing for a decent flow of water when squeezed.One downside is it’s a rounded reservoir to you cannot set this down, you have to hold it while the dog drinks. Which means you wind up dumping water out all the time if they don’t drink the amount you squeezed into the bowl. Not too much of a problem since this is really meant for portable (walking) situations but it would be nice if I could just set it on the ground sometimes. I love that this product is so convenient and I don't have to carry both things around; it eliminates the effort of having to set up the collapsible bowl. It took a couple of tries to get my dog used to it, he was afraid of it for a while until he realized what it’s for (he's a fraidy cat in general).
