The material is very comfortable and the elastic by the ribcage is smooth and soft without any rubber grippies. When i tried it on, I immediately realized there were no pads in it.. For me, that's a no go. I'm already smallish on top so I need some contouring help. So I gave it to my daughter whose band size is smaller but cup size is bigger. Unfortunately the bra does not provide a ton of lift, and there are no adjustable straps to tighten it up. She said she didn't care since she likes to wear bras to bed and this one is super soft and comfortable. The funny thing is that she usually hates cross backs but she seems to really love this one so maybe it will transition her into a new style. Don't expect any upward support, it is definitely not a sports bra.
