I bought it to transfer paint from a 5gal bucket to my sprayer container and by sucking the paint was exhausting and time consuming so I just poured the paint instead. I want to store a viscous product (wax/oil) that will harden if left exposed to air even in its own jar** A: it is NOT ideal to extract air.
