It is also roustall and rectangular shaped. I would recommend storing the toilet paper elsewhere. It’s just not made for that. Has a wooden floor that could tear up the paper before using it. The inside of the container Iis rough to the touch and could once again tear the toilet paper. **Q: Is there a way to hang small/compact umbrellas on this stand - probably by thier loops?** A: I gave it as a gift so I don’t know But it was very appreciated! **Q: Could this be used to hold fireplace tools?** A: I don’t think it’s tall enough.
