The purpose of which is to stop the water turning green, which it does very effectively. I personally wouldn't use it for drinking water as i don't think it would keep it fresh or safe to drink. That would cost around Β£437. **Q: Is this ok for bird baths?** A: I wouldn't risk it. It's for larger volumes of water such as in rainwater butts.
