I queried this and apparently it is random which colour they despatch, and it has nothing to do with the gender of your dog. I think the items only come in blue and pink for obvious reasons. At least my boy won't know pink is a girls colour, and I guess he won't see shades of red too well either (it is quite a reddy pink). The seller asked for me to pay postage if I wanted to return the item, which would make returning it financially stupid. They offered to despatch another once the item was returned but still couldn't guarantee it would be blue. Not ideal, for this reason, but a decent enough product. Strong, but still soft enough for puppy's little mouth. It is a little softer rubber than the red classic kong toys. I just would rather have had blue for a boy. Call me old fashioned.
