I mainly use them as a battery stabiliser when reading/writing to a vehicle’s ECU to maintain battery voltage.The jump leads arrived well packaged in a plastic zip up case. They are exceptionally long at 6m length which is exactly what I was looking for. The zip case is flimsy and is a tight fit so I struggled to get the leads back in to the case. However, I don't see this as an issue and prefer to have them in a tool box anyway.The build quality is excellent. The leads are heavy duty with 12mm thick cables and the clamps are the highest quality clamps I have come across on a set of jump leads. The cables don't tend to get tangled due to the thickness of them which is also a nice bonus.These jump leads are designed to jump start 6V, 12V and 24V batteries. I have only tried them on cars and vans but they should start trucks and large agricultural vehicles with the 24V capacity.Overall, I am very impressed with these jump leads. They are fantastic quality, good value for money and can jump start almost any vehicle you could possibly come across. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Worth having just in case. *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 February 2021* I originally hada 3m long set, but soon found this too awkward in some cases, regarding overall reach. This set is 6m in length and is much better for it. The copper inside the cable is 25mm sq', so it is the same as light duty welding cable you get with small welding sets etc. However, it is quite up too the job of helping a battery on a car to turn the engine over.The copper core is clamped too the spring loaded clip, which is itself a beefy item. The outer covering of each cable is then clamped further back along its length. This gives a good connection overall. I found it easier to handle these cables if they are taped together by ducktape, every 15" or so. This gives in effect only one cable to handle and coil up to put it back into the plastic bag, rather than two thick cables which can be awkward to manouver back into the plastic bag they come in.I highly recommend these cables for their build quality and length, though you can make your own cables up (at extra cost of course) using seperate clips and welding cables of any length required. In that case you may need thicker cales for lorries or other very large machinery etc. I would recommend possibly using 50mm sq welding cable if needed in such cases, to carry any extra loads. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Very practical length of 6 meters, good construction. But the case is as impractical as in most similar products. *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 October 2017* The 6 meter length is a real asset when jump-starting cars located the one behind the other and can not approach side by side or front to front. The case, though, is flimsy and not practical, but to be fair, this issue is the same with most similar products of other manufacturers as well of any length.
