Review: Never going back to regular socks - I was skeptical of the toe sock/toe shoe trend for a long time. It looked so strange, and I thought that fabric between my toes would surely lead to blisters. Then I injured my foot (just a slight strain, but enough to make walking uncomfortable) while visiting a friend in another city. We had plans to walk all over, and she suggested I try a pair of these, since she said they helped her stretch her feet and she'd had fewer cramps since she started wearing them. I did try them, and I'm never going back to regular socks. Now that I wear these I don't even understand why I thought they'd cause blisters- skin-on-skin contact and ill-fitting socks cause blisters, but the thin layer of fabric between the toes and snug fit of these prevents even the start of hot spots. We walked 12 miles the first day I wore these without a single blister. And my feet feel better and more relaxed overall now since the individual toes help with proper toe alignment. The material is very thin but tightly knit and the finish and the fit is excellent. I wear a women's 8.5 and the medium is perfect. They take a moment to put on in the mornings (since you must put the left and right socks on the correct feet and snug the toes in place) but once they're on there is no adjustment and no slipping. They aren't truly no-show in my running or walking shoes but the ankle is low and unobtrusive, and the heel tab helps prevent chafing or sliding in to your shoe (which, again, as someone with wide feet and wide heels, was often a problem for me with most lower-cut regular socks). I have machine washed my new pairs about 15 times each at this point and they all still look practically new. No unravelling, no worn spots, no fading. Really a nice quality product. After a lifetime crunched in narrow shoes, these socks and a few pairs of barefoot-style sneakers are giving my wide feet a new lease on life. I no longer have sore feet at the end of the day (and I am an ER nurse who stands and walks for 12 hour shifts, as well as a runner). My wonky pinky toe has stopped curling under the other toes, too. Turns out it *isn't* normal for toes to be all folded under each other, who knew? I can't recommend these socks highly enough. They're pricey, but the high-quality construction and comfort are worth it. There's just no comparison between these and regular socks. Once you try these, you'll never go back.
Review: Good Quality & Good Fit - I wear US9.0/EU42 shoes and the Injinji 'MED' fits well and isn't stretched tight at all. The toes are good and the cuff runs right across the centre of my ankle bone. A 'SM' would probably work if you want a really skin-tight fit while a 'LG' would be way too big. I had never tried toe socks, but a friend mentioned that they had several advantages for keeping your feet in good shape. I've been wearing both the high and low cut types for a while so I'm covered no matter what shoes or boots I need to wear. It took some time to get used to them-- especially getting the knack of putting them on. Until you get the hang of it, you can't be in the time crunch of the morning rush. It's like working a puzzle-- the faster you go, the more frustrated you get! So allow a little extra time in the beginning. It didn't really take any time to get used to the feel them. I notice it for the first few minutes but forget about them before I even get out the door. It's hard to say what the long-term benefit will be, but I don't expect to ever wear typical socks again. My feet seem less fatigued after a long day-- no aches, no cramps. I love the way they allow your toes to splay inside shoes with a wide toebox. I've switched to wearing Altra runners- ugly but the shape is so much more comfortable for running. Because I needed a few more pairs of socks to keep me covered between wash days, I decided to try some of the less expensive toe socks that come in 6-packs. That ended up being a waste of money. The toes add another dimension to accommodate for a perfect fit and neither brand of the cheaper socks I tried felt snug and natural. The Injinji socks are unreasonably expensive, but they are well made and they fit perfectly. I've been hand washing them. It only takes a couple minutes and they air dry in no time at all. It's worth it. The big thing to avoid is the dryer heat. If you machine washed them with the rest of your laundry, I'm sure they'd be fine as long as you let them air dry instead of running them through the dryer. Bottom line: good concept, good quality and worth the money!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is there a size chart (comparing to shoe size)?**
A: There is a size chart on their website - http://www.injinji.com/. I am a 9.5-10.5 in normal shoes and a 41/42 in FiveFingers and a medium size fits me great.

**Q: What size should I get if I am a men's size 8**
A: I'm a US Men 8.5/9.0 and I prefer the fit of the SMALL size. I tried the medium ones and the fit seemed a bit sloppy, so I've been ordering the small ones ever since. I like a snug fit, though-- particularly in running socks. Others might prefer the looser fit of a medium. Either fit is a great improvement over traditional socks!

**Q: Is this $10 per pair?? Or are there multiple?**
A: Yes they are averaging about $10 a pair. The ones I purchased with my fingers shoes were about that and worth it.

**Q: What are they made out of? Cotton blend? Micro fiber? polyester?**
A: 28% Coolmax Polyester, 67% nylon/polyamid, 5% lycra
