Review: Substandard Product — Extreme Shedding After First Wash - STAY AWAY: This woolen blanket was a complete letdown & health hazard. I purchased this woolen blanket hoping for warmth and comfort. What I got instead was a health hazard. Straight out of the packaging, it reeked of chemicals — strong enough to trigger a headache. I followed care instructions and washed it immediately (gentle cycle, cold water) just to make it usable. That’s when the real nightmare began. The blanket began shedding excessively — fine fibers everywhere. They clung to clothes, floated in the air, and coated nearby surfaces. It was like a dust storm of wool. The shedding was so severe, I didn’t even bother using it. I returned it immediately. The material was nowhere near the “premium wool” or “luxurious craftsmanship” advertised. What I received was substandard and unfit for use. If you value your health, your home’s cleanliness, and honest product descriptions, avoid this blanket.
