The Satara is a great Biltong Maker with a matt finish lid and base, created with ease of use in mind, robust and reliable, a great machine that will produce amazing biltong every time. Made from 3mm thick impact resistant acrylic with a durable 3mm thick foamex back support panel. The 3mm thick panels are easily assembled via rigid corner beading especially manufactured for ourselves and provides greater strength and support. The use of Aluminium rod supports give this a great feel and look, allowing the 3 rods flexibility to be placed in varied locations along the black angled support giving the freedom to make sure your meat is dried to perfection during the whole hanging process, extra rods can also be purchased and added if required. **Q: How long does it take to dry the meat?**
A: Hi there. If the meat is cut about 1cm thick. You will be eating it within 3 days, unless you want it very dry. 4 to 5 days maxRegardsBrad

**Q: Does the Biltong Box have a front door, or do you access the meat from the top lid?**
A: You lift lid off and access from above. There is a model with a front door. But in my opinion I would not bother with the front door as the biltong at the back dries first due to light bulb and air flow. 
This is a great produce I use mine every week.

**Q: How to store your biltong after it's dried? Leave it in the biltong maker, slice it up, put in fridge, freeze?**
A: Remove from dryer and store in stomach. Make more when storage is full. Simple

**Q: is  this item good to dry small salami?**
A: It could dry out anything.

Prompt delivery, easy to assemble and great that it was ‘plug and play’ready with a lightbulb included, along with some biltong spices and hooks for hanging the meat. The first batch of biltong has been made and enjoyed already. I’m sure many more will be made going forwards. Well done on a great product that works extremely well!
