It’s been a very good product for my very dark oak bookcase. **Q: I've sanded a footstool. the wood is vey light, like beech. i want a rich honey colour. would i use liberon oil and then polish with antique pine wax?** A: I would test the underside of the footstool first with a dye/ oil/ wax in combinations until you achieve the desired colour. Although the pine wax in several applications might give you the colour you are after. I got it to put into my hobby room for model building and it is ideal for that. Easy to put together instruction good but could do with some larger illustrations. The draws are deeper than I expected and nicely lined. The bench is very sturdy without being overly large. The only downs we're one piece had a break on it but it was easy to fix and not a major problem and the wooden pegs a way to small .
