I loaded a 900-950 pound fish house box on these wheels. They roll on flat even surface with that weight pretty well, does take effort... but if you're going to use these on dirt or grass with more than 300 pounds you will definitely need to put boards down so they don't just dig in. If these were for a tool box or something being rolled on concrete they would be top notch but they are a bit skinny for anywhere near the weight capacity on grass/dirt.
