Wood dice yellow with white dots . Great game we enjoyed it .. **Q: Is this game language independent ? (Could be played with non english speaking players)** A: The game uses numbers and icons throughout the game play. For the most part I would consider it language independent. It does come with player aids to explain the icons in English. New players will rely on these frequently until they feel comfortable with the icons. After a few plays, you will rarely look at them. As long as there is at least one bilingual player there to explain the different icons in the beginning, there shouldn't be a problem with non-English players picking it up. The only other thing I can think of is each person starts with 2 halves of a player board.Each half has a name on it, so when you put them together you might be playing as lazy tacos. It has nothing to do with the game plau, just a fun thing they through in. The rules come in English only, at least in my version.
