**Q: What is edc and whats difference in pen ?**
A: Hi! EDC stands for Everyday Carry. The pens are compact, durable, and versatile to be carried at all times.  Our EDC pens are designed to allow the cap to securely screw on at either end. When closed, this is a short pen that slips easily into your pocket. With the cap posted, this is a full-size pen with perfect balance.

**Q: is there option to buy blue ink cartridges ?**
A: Yes there is. Please look at the part number on your old cartridge, then go to Amazon and input “Scriveiner pen cartridgesP/N  and it should search for you. Since I recently purchased a pen from the same company, I checked on Amazon and found I had an option of blue or black ink, along with fine, medium or bold cartridges. Hope this helps you.

**Q: will it take a schmidt ballpoint refill?**
A: Hi! Thank you for inquiring.   The ballpoint refill will not fit.  

The refills for the rollerball and ballpoint pens have different mechanisms (ballpoint pens use an oil-based ink and rollerball pens use a liquid-based ink). They also differ in size/dimension, and they are not interchangeable. 

You can use Scriveiner refills, or Schmidt 888 rollerball refill.

**Q: What is the exact name of this pen's refills?**
A: Hi! You can use Scriveiner rollerball ink refills for the EDC rollerball pen.  They are available on Amazon (you can choose black or blue ink), and are offered in various tip sizes.

It has a nice weight, a classy real gold finish, and the German Schmidt refill writes incredibly smoothly, making it a pleasure for everyday writing.I did experience an issue with the original rollerball, but what truly impressed me was Scriveiner's customer support. They responded quickly and sent a replacement without any hassle. You may want an EDC pocket pen, but you don't need to look like you're in the Army Rangers. In fact, you'd like the best of both worlds: an EDC pen that looks nice. This one has it, and with several options. I opted for the blue finish. It also solves two of my pet peeves about pens: 1. Most pens stick up out of my shirt pocket because they're too long. This one is very short by comparison and will fit fine. 2. When I'm writing with a lot of pens, the top will fall off while I'm writing, which I hate. This screws in place, so the top/cap will stay on. Beyond all that, it feels good in the hand, writes well, and you get an extra refill. I don't like boring clips; this one is Art Deco and looks great. I like how the logo is on the band and the top of the pen. Unlike most pens, even good ones, you can register it. The manual is emailed to you and is very clear. There are a LOT of refill options, and I can't say I entirely understand the differences. I'd like to try one of their fountain pens, but for everyday use, the rollerball is great. You can get a Schmidt Refill Fibre Fasermine if you like felt-tip pens, which I do. I'd like to know if you can get a ballpoint refill for this pen. Overall, this is an exceptional pen.

This pen is weighted and I have arthritis in my hands and it is perfect so easy to write with does not cause problems in my hands or my wrist and I write a lot. I will be ordering an ordering another one.
