After a couple of days I did think I was Initially disappointed because of that. They still had an oval shape, not round.Then, some days later I was getting something near where I had put them and they looked fully expanded. No more loose, wrinkly cover over an oval. So I picked one up to check...It was exactly what I've been trying to find. The foam is very firm... and round, which I wanted. Maybe that's why it took longer to expand, because it is very dense.It is a lighter shade of grey than shown, but it's a pretty shade... I personally like it better.Have purchased a second set.
