Imade the mistake of not doing so once it was covered on the third or fourth layer one time. When i came to remove it was impossible. If you are trying to decide between this and glossifiers...i tried a glossifier on a matt and it loomed great for 5 minutes. Then it looked like matt black again and remained so no matter what.

They had never been sprayed before since new but the product dissolved the original underlying paint on the alloys leaving me with a complete mess to scrape off and also a set of wheels that needed complete shot blasting, stripping and repainting. Unless you are 100% sure of the integrity of your underlying coat from a very reputable manufacture I would not advise this product.

Silly first review. Quality product used foliatec for awhile. Used to use plastidip however i found foliatec better wsring maybe down to uk weather. Spray as many layers as possible.
