## Description

SONOFF POW Elite is a power meter switch, a newly upgraded ESP32 chip 200% faster than the previous ESP8622 chip. With an LCD screen, it can track your appliances' power, current, and voltage in real-time and cumulative power consumption. POW Elite support to check 6-Month power consumption historical data accurate to the hour, the data can be exported to excel on your phone. You can set daily/monthly power consumption thresholds when the consumption goal is reached, you will get a push notification.

Review: I purchased this Sonoff Power Monitor on a hunch as i couldn't find any information on it to see if it would work in a bidirectional way - ie to monitor wattage going in rather than out. I have a few sonoff products around my home and always find them to be great pieces of technology that work just how they are suppose too. You need to have the eWelink app installed to get the most out of these device, the app is free and easy to download. Connecting up this device was a breeze there are very decent quality connectors for you Live and Load inputs, and installation only took around 5 mins. Unfortunately as with all sonoff products i own there is no earth connector so i had to make my own. Once powered up i was extremely pleased to see that it was indeed bidirectional and measured the wattage and ampage coming in from my solar array. Checking the app i was able to watch the wattage from the panels increase as more sunlight hit the panels. The only thing that didn't work was the wattage as this displayed the grid wattage rather than the solar voltage, but Watts and Amps worked great. Remote control of the device was also great, i was able to switch on and off the mains portion of the device without issue from the device and the app. For standard appliance use, you can not go wrong with this energy monitor - it seems to be very accurate and will feed the data directly into the app, or you can just look at the LCD display - i do wish there was a backlight on the display as it was at times hard to read. **Q: Will this fit into a standard outlet/switch box in the wall?**
A: In my opinion, it would be tight if you could get it in.  Plus, you wouldn't have access to the power switch if needed.

**Q: Can I use this for my electric dryer? To notify me when it finished?**
A: You can use it for electric dryer as long as its current rating is below 16Amp (or 20 Amp) - depends on the model you have. As for notification - it does not have such the function, however, you can see if the elctric dryer is On or Off by checking Amp readining (current) on the screen (either on the unit iteself or eWelink application).

**Q: Does this work with Alexa?**
A: Yes, it works with Alexa.

**Q: Would this support 10volts for the lowest cuttoff setting?**
A: It does not have such functionality (undervoltage relay)

I purchased this Sonoff Power Monitor on a hunch as i couldn't find any information on it to see if it would work in a bidirectional way - ie to monitor wattage going in rather than out. I have a few sonoff products around my home and always find them to be great pieces of technology that work just how they are suppose too. You need to have the eWelink app installed to get the most out of these device, the app is free and easy to download. Connecting up this device was a breeze there are very decent quality connectors for you Live and Load inputs, and installation only took around 5 mins. Unfortunately as with all sonoff products i own there is no earth connector so i had to make my own. Once powered up i was extremely pleased to see that it was indeed bidirectional and measured the wattage and ampage coming in from my solar array. Checking the app i was able to watch the wattage from the panels increase as more sunlight hit the panels. The only thing that didn't work was the wattage as this displayed the grid wattage rather than the solar voltage, but Watts and Amps worked great.
