It went together pretty easily, especially since we had already done it with the old bed. Here is what I noticed, the cream color looks to be better made. It's bigger than the black one I just bought, even though they are the same bed frame. We lined up the two foot boards and you can see the difference in size. Same measurements in the add. The side boards on the black are only 3/4 inches thick vs 1 and 3/4 on the white bed (which fits the description photo.) The slats aren't quite as wide either. Other than that, I love it. Exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price! It took about 2 hours to assemble (the longest part being the headboard). It’s NO NOISE!! and for wooden planks it is VERY durable but I would definitely recommend getting a box spring as well.
