They are very well made, easy to put on and comfortable. What I really like is that the toe hole is on the underside of the foot. So if you're putting other regular socks on top, your toes don't slip through the hole while you're putting on the socks. I also like the grippy band at the top that helps keep the stockings in place and don't slip down your leg. As to fit, I'm a 5'2" man, 132 pounds, so a short dude. The size "M L1" fits me perfectly with the top going all the way up to the groin. Probably good for anyone up to 5'4" tall. We were able to wash and reuse. The hold up band on the thigh, is thick and could be a detriment if this will bother you skip this brand. I have a problem with the brand name band as well as the elastic band across the foot as well. They are very tight but can be folded over to provide comfort.
