Is this a good shower head for this or does it have a flow restrictor?** A: Hi I bought this for my Hansgrohe shower which is powered by a combi boiler. I noticed that the hot water kept cutting out and coming back on 30 secs later when the shower was running. Initially I thought it was an issue with the shower unit. However, when I took off the Hansgrohe shower head and turned the shower on so that the water just ran through the hose, there were no issues with the hot water coming through constantly. After a conversation with National Shower Spares, I came to the conclusion that this particular shower head works best with electric showers. It looks decent quality and it lasts so a good investment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality - At A Price *by M***M on 15 April 2021* When I bought this I did think it was a tad pricey but I'd already fitted a Hansgrohe bath mixer which, I had not realised did not come with the shower head. My bad for not reading the description properly. And I repeated my mistake here again. I figured for the price which, is way higher than generic heads the hose would come with it. Nope. All that money only buys the actual head itself. It's not great value to be honest. However, putting that aside, the fact is that this is a very good quality item and it certainly works well. It's good in the hand and the water flow in all modes is well controlled. That money has made a difference for sure. Bottom line is that I should have accepted that buying German designed quality was not going to be quite as cheap as the initial prices suggested. I would still have bought the same equipment because, it's genuinely very good. However, read the descriptions because Hansgrohe sell exactly what they say. The bath mixer with shower head attachment requires you to purchase the mixer, the shower head, the hose and the wall mount separately unless you see a package deal.
