Review: Work great for American Camlocks - I use these camlocks with my layflat hoses that I have for my trash pump. I used to have the threaded connections, but I had nothing but water leaking from the fittings, and a very difficult time getting the fittings tightened and loosened. I have switched to camlock fittings now, and I am very happy with it. I do not have an issue of water leaking, and securing / unsecuring the connections is very simple.

I use these camlocks with my layflat hoses that I have for my trash pump. I used to have the threaded connections, but I had nothing but water leaking from the fittings, and a very difficult time getting the fittings tightened and loosened. I have switched to camlock fittings now, and I am very happy with it. I do not have an issue of water leaking, and securing / unsecuring the connections is very simple.

Great quality and look to be super durable. They are difficult to get into the end of 3 inch suction pipe. Not a detractor for the fittings just letting everyone know that in order to get these in stiff suction pipe I had to use heat and lubricant to be able to drive them in. The difficulty I had getting them into the suction hose I had is not the fault of the fitting itself but rather certain hoses may be more difficult than others based on the stiffness and material make up of the hose.
