**Q: So it's a blanket holder?  Does it act as a pillow when using the blanket?**
A: The blanket has a cover so when the blanket is folded in the cover it may be used as a pillow. In other words, you can use it as a pillow or a blanket, but not both at the same time unless you stuff something else into the cover while you’re using the blanket.  
I will say this blanket was very nice and soothing to have on a trip

It’s an essential! So comfy and easy to clean. And it’s compact and easy to travel with. You can clip it onto basically anything and you’ll be good to go. The green color is so pretty! Bought this initially as a plane pillow/blanket for my trip to UK last month. Didn’t end up using it on the plane but I used the blanket with my sleep sack for 3 weeks in hotels. That blanket kept me so warm and comfy. Especially when I got sick and I was cold. It’s so soft and I’ve used the blanket itself as a pillow. Washed it two times and popped in dryer - so far so good! Oh and getting it back into the pillow case it came in was no problem. I also used compression packing cube and got it into the medium sized one- if you're packing. At the time I bought it it was due to other great reviews- so I got two others for family and they also share the same rave reviews as I do. My only improvement would be to have an option for a larger pillow/blanket size. My fam and I recommend these highly. Great for camping, plane, use at home as a throw blanket, child sleepovers, adult sleepovers, for kids, for pets ( the dogs love it) Hope this helps someone make a decision!
