Review: Was not expecting it to be this good - Absolute beast, cut through really hard ash like it was butter leaving a clean looking cut. I bought this for medieval reenactment which will require the nylon string replaced with jute from the garden centre and the screws holding the blade replaced with pins or rivets, but both are easy jobs. The saw itself is well built and the blade is better than my much more expensive crosscut saw from a big chain hardware store.
Review: Good tool for bushcraft - Decent collapsible buck saw. Would have preferred an alternative design where the blade folds inside the handles, but it still collapses fairly small. Not fond of the nylon twine used to tension the saw, so I may replace this with bank line or paracord. Came with a hardwood, rather than a green wood blade, but these are inexpensive to replace.

Absolute beast, cut through really hard ash like it was butter leaving a clean looking cut. Great bow saw, once sanded and linseed treated it now really looks smart, but of course the best feature is the way it tears through hard woods Ash and Cherry to date, I am pleased with this purchase due to the very reasonable price.
