A: It's a rechargeable battery, not sure what type. I charged it per instructions before 1 st use; used it several times on my face over about 4-6 weeks.

**Q: Are additional replacement heads available for purchase?**
A: You should be able to get them on Amazon. Look in the same area as the shavers. I haven’t had to order any yet but that is where they should be.

**Q: Does the flawless razor heads fit this product? Eventually I will run out of the ones it comes with.**
A: I put my first generation Flawless heads on just to see and they fit. But If I was going to order them I would order the second generation blades because the Profeir blades would not fit my Flawless.

**Q: Is this gold plated or just gold colored?**
A: Gold color. Would be gold plated for that price. However it work’s very well.
