Review: Looking forward to planting these in my border - I failed on my first attempt using half of the packet seeds putting vermiculite on top. The second attempt was more successful using john innes seed and cutting compost. The seeds are so fine that they don't require covering. I sowed them in a cold propagator and they seem to be coming on nicely. Review: Bought, Planted, Grew, Happy! - I bought these wormwood seeds for my herb garden. Wormwood is slightly tricky to grow as the tiny seeds need access to light, and also need to be kept moist. Watering these seeds will typically wash them away. I planted the seeds in a pot on top of a fine compost/soil mix and used a fine water spray to keep them moist. They germinated in 7-10 days and I have since potted them on. If you take care, these low cost packs of seeds are excellent value for money. ## Features - Sow from March to June in pots or trays under-cover. - Surface sow seeds thinly on fine seed compost and cover lightly or with vermiculite. - Thin / transplant to 2in between plants when large enough to handle. Transplant out when large enough to handle to 60cm (2ft) apart between plants. - Keep well-watered until established. Leaves can be cut regularly throughout the summer and autumn. - Professional DEFRA licenced Quality Seed Supply only - Minimal packaging - Ziplock labelled bags - Instructions not attached - See details provided above for cultivation advice. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B009LJBNTI | | Best Sellers Rank | 21,505 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 71 in Herb Seeds | | Brand | Premier Seeds Direct | | Brand Name | Premier Seeds Direct | | Colour | Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 206 Reviews | | Expected Plant Height Unit | 60 Centimetres | | Expected blooming period | Summer | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Indoor/Outdoor usage | Indoor | | Item Type Name | HERB WORMWOOD ARTEMISIA ABSINTHIUM 5000 SEEDS | | Manufacturer | Premier Seeds Direct | | Manufacturer Part Number | HRB40 | | Material Features | Natural | | Material feature | Natural | | Model Number | HRB40 | | Moisture Needs | Regular Watering | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 5000 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Natural | | Plant or Animal Product Type | ajenjo | | Product Care Instructions | Well Drained Soil | | Special feature | Natural | | Style Name | Single | | Sunlight Exposure | Full Sun | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | expected blooming period | Summer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Premier Seeds Direct - **Colour:** Green - **Expected blooming period:** Summer - **Expected plant height:** 60 Centimetres - **Indoor/Outdoor usage:** Indoor - **Material feature:** Natural - **Product care instructions:** Well Drained Soil - **Special feature:** Natural - **Sunlight exposure:** Full Sun - **Unit count:** 1.0 count ## Images ![PREMIER SEEDS DIRECT - HERB Seeds - Wormwood - Artemisia Absinthium - 5000 Seeds - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718+n5V7zCL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this plant smell of cola and can you use it in cooking?** A: Good morning, Thank you for your inquiry.
