A gallon? More/less?** A: You will add an equal amount of water to powder to make heavy cream. 340 teaspoons works out to just over 7 cups. I’d start with 6 cups and slowly work up to 7 or 7.5 cups. **Q: Is this an organic product?** A: if it was organic there would be no question, as it would be very noticeable on package! It is however non GMO and btw, the taste is great! I bought originally to store in case of food shortages (got to have my coffee!) but now use it everyday!! **Q: Has anyone successfully cultured this product to make kefir or sour cream?** A: I use it for homemade yoghurt, but use a little whole milk with it. I like that this is real cream powder - tastes great and easy to travel with. My kit includes a collapsible kettle, rechargeable frother, instant starbucks.
